Siddhi is software, not a person. General questions need no details; for a personal answer it asks for your date, time and place of birth and reads the chart computed from them.
Ask a question and get an answer built from your own birth chart - your lagna, the nine grahas, the Vimshottari dasha you are running and where the planets are today - instead of a sun-sign paragraph written for everybody. The astrologer here is software: no person reads your questions or writes the replies.

Free AI astrologer chat, in one paragraph
An AI astrologer is a language model that is handed a finished astronomical calculation before it is allowed to answer. Swarn Siddhi computes the chart first, from Swiss Ephemeris positions in the Lahiri sidereal zodiac: longitudes for the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu, the twelve houses measured from your ascendant, the navamsa, and the Vimshottari dasha sequence taken from the nakshatra your Moon occupied at birth. Code does that part. The model's work begins afterwards - it reads those computed values and answers the question you actually asked, in ordinary language.
That split is the whole design. Arithmetic that has to be exact stays in the ephemeris, where it is deterministic and checkable against any other Lahiri calculator. Explanation goes to the model. A chatbot doing both steps at once gets the first one wrong - quietly, fluently, and with no way for you to tell.
Birth details the AI astrologer needs
Three things: date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. The time is the one people underestimate. The ascendant advances roughly one degree every four minutes, so a whole sign turns over about every two hours - and the ascendant is what fixes all twelve house cusps. A birth time wrong by ninety minutes can move your lagna, take every house with it, and change most of what a chart-based answer says about work, marriage and property while leaving the planetary positions almost untouched.
Place matters because it supplies latitude, longitude and the time-zone offset used to turn your local clock time into the universal time the ephemeris works in. A city name is enough; the coordinates are looked up for you. A town that shares its name with another town is the one case worth checking, because a wrong longitude moves the ascendant the same way a wrong clock does.
Without a birth time the chat still works, more narrowly. Moon sign and nakshatra are usually settled by the date alone, since the Moon stays in one sign for over two days, and numerology works from the date. The chart carries a flag saying whether a real time was supplied, so the answer hedges the house claims instead of stating a coin-flip lagna as fact.
Questions the free AI astrology chat answers well
The pattern is simple: it answers questions about the chart in front of it. Anything needing a fact from outside your chart is a question it should decline rather than fill in.
- Which mahadasha and antardasha you are running, when the current one ends, and what the classical texts associate with that pair.
- What your lagna and its lord traditionally say about temperament, and where that lord sits.
- Where Saturn is transiting relative to your Moon, and whether that actually amounts to sade sati.
- Why one calculator called you manglik and another did not - usually a cancellation rule one of them skipped.
- What a specific placement means in the tradition - Mercury in the tenth house, a debilitated Venus, a combust Mars.
- What a term you read somewhere actually means: yoga, karaka, retrograde, exalted, arudha, chara dasha.
Limits of an AI astrology chat
It cannot tell you what will happen. Nothing in a chart determines an outcome, and a system that speaks as though it does is selling certainty rather than a reading. It cannot verify your birth details either: enter half past eleven at night when you were born half past eleven in the morning and it will answer confidently from the wrong chart, because nothing in the input tells it otherwise.
It cannot see anything outside the chart and the conversation - not your medical record, not your bank balance, not another person's chart unless you supply that chart too. And it is a language model, which means it can produce a fluent sentence that is wrong. Where a claim matters - a dosha, a dasha end date, a muhurta you plan to act on - open the calculator that computed it and read the number yourself. Every figure the chat cites has a page on this site that shows its working.
AI astrologer versus a general AI chatbot
Ask a general assistant to read your kundli and it will do one of two things: decline, or write something plausible. What it will not do is compute your ascendant. It has no ephemeris, no ayanamsa setting and no house calculation, so the positions in its answer are recalled rather than derived - and language models recall Western material far more readily than Jyotish, which means the sign it names is usually the tropical one. The sidereal and tropical zodiacs differ by roughly twenty-four degrees today, so most Indian readers are handed the wrong sign before the reading even starts.
The second difference is what is remembered between turns. A general chatbot remembers the words you typed; this chat has your saved chart, so a follow-up three days later still lands on the same lagna, dasha and nakshatra. That is not a memory trick - the chart is recomputed server-side each time rather than carried in the conversation.
Privacy in the free astrology chat
The chat runs in privacy mode by default, and that setting does something specific rather than decorative. The deterministic engines on our own server get your full birth details, because they need them to compute a chart at all. What is sent onward to the language provider is the computed result and not the inputs: Moon sign, lagna, nakshatra, the numerology figures, the dasha windows, your age, today's date, and two honesty flags saying whether a real birth time was given and whether the time zone resolved. Your name, your date and time of birth, your coordinates and your time zone are held back.
Two values survive that scrub on purpose - your age and today's date - because without them the model cannot turn a dasha window into an age, and it starts estimating instead. Your own messages are never rewritten; the redaction applies to the reference data we attach, not to what you chose to say.
Accuracy of an AI astrology reading
Two kinds of accuracy get confused here, and only one of them is testable. The calculation is testable: our positions come from Swiss Ephemeris with the Lahiri ayanamsa, the same convention most Indian software uses, so a longitude we print should agree with any other Lahiri tool to within rounding. If it does not, one of us has a bug and it can be found.
The interpretation is a different claim entirely. Jyotish is a traditional interpretive framework; no controlled evidence supports its predictive claims, and putting a language model in front of it does not change that. What the AI adds is patience - it will explain the same placement four ways until one lands. What it does not add is evidence. Treat a reading as a structured way to think about a decision you are already making, not as a forecast of it.
Free AI astrology chat versus a human astrologer
These are different services and the page will not blur them. The AI answers immediately, at any hour, in as much detail as you have patience for, and it never gets tired of a beginner's question. A person hears the thing you did not say, weighs a family situation the chart cannot show, and takes responsibility for the advice. Neither replaces the other.
If a person is what you want, the app has a separate consultation request under Library, then Experts - you leave a topic, a number and a preferred time, and somebody calls back. That flow is human from its first step and the chat is no part of it.
Cost of the free AI astrologer chat
Say plainly what free means here, because a page that says it and means something else has cheated the reader. The chart, every calculator on this site and every guide are free with no account and no card. The chat is free for your first 3 questions, with no sign-up. After that it is metered in coins, one charge per message, earned by watching a rewarded ad; an all-access plan removes the charge. The price and your balance are shown before a message is sent, and this page does not promise an unlimited free chat.
If a turn fails - the engine errors, the answer never arrives, the connection drops before a single word of it - the coins come back, and a free question is handed back the same way. That refund is automatic and server-side rather than a support request, because charging for an answer nobody received costs more trust than it earns.
Jyotish is a traditional interpretive system, not a tested one. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice, and nothing here should delay treatment or professional help.
Free AI astrology chat questions
Is the AI astrologer chat really free?
For your first 3 questions, yes - no account, no card, no sign-up. After that, messages are paid for with coins earned by watching a rewarded ad, or an all-access plan removes the charge. The chart and every calculator stay free either way.
Am I chatting with a real astrologer?
No. It is software. No person reads your questions or writes the replies, and nothing on this page is presented as a human consultation. A separate human callback request exists in the app under Library, then Experts.
Do I need my exact birth time for the AI astrology chat?
For house-based questions, yes - career, marriage, property and most timing work depend on the ascendant, which moves a full sign about every two hours. Without a time you still get Moon sign, nakshatra, dasha and numerology, and the chat is told the time is unknown so it hedges the rest.
Can the AI astrologer predict a marriage or job date?
It can tell you which dasha and antardasha periods the tradition associates with those matters, and when those periods run, because the dates are computed. It cannot tell you an event will occur in one. A system that names a date claims a certainty the tradition itself does not offer.
What birth data reaches the AI provider?
In the default privacy mode, the computed result rather than the inputs: Moon sign, lagna, nakshatra, numerology figures, dasha windows, your age and today's date, plus flags for whether a real birth time and a valid time zone were available. Name, date and time of birth, coordinates and time zone are held on our side.
Which ayanamsa does the AI astrologer use?
Lahiri, applied to Swiss Ephemeris positions - the convention most Indian software uses, so a longitude here should match another Lahiri tool to within rounding. If a reading disagrees with our own calculator pages, trust the calculator: it prints its working.
