When Chaturthi is running at moonrise on two evenings, the first is kept; when it touches neither moonrise, the fast is kept on the day Chaturthi is running at sunrise. A Sankashti on a Tuesday is Angaraki Chaturthi. The Magha one is Sakat Chauth and the Kartika one is Karwa Chauth, both in the purnimanta reckoning of North India.
