Work asks for patience this month: leave disputes with seniors unopened, let what you deliver protect your reputation, and do not let pressure push you into hasty moves.

Sun in Virgo, your 8th house (until 17 Oct): In the eighth house the Sun is adverse. The tradition reads obstacles, delays and friction with authority; keep reserves, avoid confrontation and let routine work carry the stretch.

Sun in Libra, your 9th house (from 17 Oct): In the ninth house — fortune, father and teachers — the Sun is adverse. The tradition reads luck that is slow to arrive and disagreements with elders; steady duty is its advice.

Basis: Sun 8th (adverse) → 9th (adverse); Saturn 2nd (adverse); Mars 6th (favourable); Mercury 9th (adverse); Jupiter 6th (adverse) → 7th (favourable).

Basis: Venus 9th (favourable); Mars 6th (favourable); Jupiter 6th (adverse) → 7th (favourable); and the Moon, day by day, in the table above.

Index 3.6/10 · Mixed-Negative (the mean of the month's days)

Go easy on yourself this month: lower exertion, protect sleep, eat simply and heed early signs of fatigue — and see a doctor about anything that worries you.

Mars in Cancer, your 6th house (all month): The sixth house is one of Mars's favourable placements. The tradition reads strength, recovery and the upper hand over rivals and pending disputes.

Basis: Sun 8th (adverse) → 9th (adverse); Mars 6th (favourable); Saturn 2nd (adverse); Rahu 1st (adverse); Ketu 7th (adverse); and the Moon, day by day, in the table above.
