Lucky colour today for each rashi
These are the same colours the Swarn Siddhi app's daily rashi card shows: each sign takes the traditional colour of its lord, so a sign's colour does not change from day to day. Two signs that share a lord share a colour.

Number of the day
Lucky number today
Today's lucky number is 4: the digits of the date added down to one, 2+0+2+6+1+0+1+1 = 13 → 1+3 = 4. It comes from the date, not the sign, so it is the same for all twelve rashis — the same number the app's rashi card shows. Your own lucky numbers come from your date of birth.
Seven days
Which colour to wear on which day
Each weekday is named after a planet, and each planet has a traditional colour. Rahu and Ketu have no weekday, so they never set the colour of a day.

| Monday | Moon | pearl white |
| Tuesday | Mars | red |
| Wednesday | Mercury | green |

Method
How today's lucky colour is worked out
Two inputs, both planets, and one table. The colour of the day is the colour of the planet that rules the weekday. Your rashi's colour is the colour of the planet that rules your Moon sign. Both are read from the same planet-to-colour table — Sun saffron, Moon pearl white, Mars red, Mercury green, Jupiter yellow, Venus pink or white, Saturn dark blue or black — which is the table the app uses.
The day changes at sunrise. A Vedic day runs from one sunrise to the next, so the colour of the day switches when the Sun rises, not at midnight.
Navratri has its own colour for each of its nine days. That is a separate festival convention, set by the goddess worshipped that day rather than by the weekday's planet, and it has its own page.
A colour is a traditional association, offered for reflection. It does not change an outcome, and nothing should be decided because of it.
Questions
Lucky colour today: common questions
What is the lucky colour today?
The lucky colour for today, Sunday 11 October 2026, is saffron: Sunday is Sun's day, and saffron is Sun's colour. Your own rashi also has a colour, from its lord, which stays the same every day — find yours in the table below.
Why is my rashi's lucky colour the same every day?
Because it comes from the rashi's lord, and a sign's lord never changes. Mesh and Vrishchik are ruled by Mars, so both are red every day. What changes daily is the colour of the weekday.
Which colour should I wear on Sunday?
By the weekday rule, saffron — Sunday belongs to Sun.
Is the lucky colour the same in every city?
Almost always. The weekday changes at local sunrise, so in the short spell when the Sun has risen in one Indian city and not yet in another, the two are on different days. Once it is up everywhere, the colour of the day is the same for all.
