Planets in the 12 Houses
A planet works through the house it occupies, counted from the lagna. Each of the 108 placements below has its own page: what the classical texts say, how the sign in the house changes it for each of the twelve lagnas, the yogas it can form, when its dasha brings it, and its remedies.
Start with the house: its matters are what the planet works on. Then the sign: exalted, own, friendly, enemy or debilitated changes how well it works. Then the lord of that sign, the planets that join or aspect it, and the dasha that is running. A single placement read alone is the texts' own simplification, and each page says what qualifies it.
