Tithi: Pratipada, Tritiya, Panchami, Shashti, Ashtami, Dashami, Ekadashi, Trayodashi of either fortnight, and Purnima. Never Dwitiya, Chaturthi, Saptami, Navami, Dwadashi, Chaturdashi or Amavasya.
