Marriage timing calculator
When will I get married?
Enter your date, exact time and place of birth. The calculator reads your 7th-house lord, Venus, Jupiter and the Darakaraka through the Vimshottari dasha, adds the Jupiter-Saturn double transit, and shows the windows of the next five years — never a single date.

When Will I Get Married Calculator
- Your 7th-house lord, Venus, Jupiter and Darakaraka, from your own chart
- Every dasha period of the next five years that involves them, with its real dates
- The months when Jupiter and Saturn both reach your 7th house
- Windows of months and years, never a wedding date
Vedic astrology times a marriage in two steps: a period (dasha) that switches on the planets of marriage in your chart, and a transit that touches your 7th house while it runs. The calculator does both from your birth details and shows its working.
Worked example (14 March 1998, 08:20, New Delhi): The strongest marriage window is Nov 2030 – May 2032, the Rahu mahadasha with the Moon antardasha: it switches on the Moon (Darakaraka), and transits touch your Navamsa (D9) marriage points.

Worked example
The strongest marriage window is Nov 2030 – May 2032, the Rahu mahadasha with the Moon antardasha: it switches on the Moon (Darakaraka), and transits touch your Navamsa (D9) marriage points.
Jupiter and Saturn both first reach your 7th house (Libra) in Dec 2028 – Mar 2029.
| Factor | In this chart |
|---|---|
| Lagna | Aries |
| 7th house | Libra |
| 7th lord | Venus |
| Darakaraka (spouse karaka) | Moon |
| Look-ahead | 26 October 2026 – 25 October 2031 |
| Window | Period | Planets switched on | Navamsa (D9) support | Your age |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dec 2026 – Dec 2029 | Rahu mahadasha, Venus antardasha | Venus (7th lord, karaka of the spouse) | Yes (0.495 of 1) | 28–31 |
| Nov 2030 – May 2032 | Rahu mahadasha, Moon antardasha | the Moon (Darakaraka) | Yes (0.945 of 1) | 32–34 (runs past five years) |
The strongest window (in bold) is the one with the most Navamsa (D9) transit support, and the earlier one if two are level — the same order Swarn's chat uses. The other windows are open too; they are less strongly marked, not closed.
| Double transit | Inside window |
|---|---|
| Dec 2028 – Mar 2029 | Dec 2026 – Dec 2029 |
| Oct 2029 – Jan 2030 | Dec 2026 – Dec 2029 |
How the calculator works
- Lagna and the 7th house. The sign rising in the east at birth is the Lagna; the 7th sign from it is the house of marriage and the spouse, and its ruler is the 7th lord.
- The planets of marriage. The 7th lord, Venus (karaka of the spouse), Jupiter (karaka of marriage) and the Darakaraka — in Jaimini's system the planet at the lowest degree, which stands for the spouse.
- The dasha. Every Vimshottari mahadasha and antardasha of the next five years ruled by one of them, with its real dates (the dasha calculator gives the same dates).
- The Navamsa. For each period, every month is checked for how strongly the transiting planets activate the marriage points of the Navamsa (D9) chart; the highest value is that period's D9 support.
- The double transit. Every fifth day is checked for whether Jupiter and Saturn both occupy or aspect the 7th house.
Why a window and not a date
A dasha period runs for months or years, and Jupiter and Saturn stay in a sign for many months. So the honest answer astrology can give is when marriage is more strongly indicated. A site or a person who names a firm wedding date is claiming more than the calculation holds. The method in full: how astrology times a marriage.
What to check next
Once a match is being considered, kundli matching reads both charts' 36 gunas and doshas, and the Manglik Dosha calculator checks Mars.
When will I get married — questions
How do I know when I will get married by date of birth?
Enter your date, exact time and place of birth above. The calculator finds your Lagna and 7th house, lists every dasha period of the next five years that involves your 7th lord, Venus, Jupiter or the Darakaraka, and marks the months when Jupiter and Saturn both reach your 7th house. The strongest window is the one with the most Navamsa (D9) support.
Can astrology tell the exact date of my marriage?
No. Astrology gives windows of months or years in which marriage is more strongly indicated. The date itself depends on you, your family and your circumstances, and no honest method can promise it.
Why does the calculator need my exact birth time?
The Lagna changes about every two hours, and the 7th house is counted from it. A different Lagna gives a different 7th lord, and so different dasha periods. If your recorded time is approximate, read the windows as approximate too.
What is the Jupiter-Saturn double transit?
It is K. N. Rao's rule that a major event tends to come when transiting Jupiter and transiting Saturn both occupy or aspect the house of that event. For marriage that is the 7th house. The calculator counts Jupiter's 5th, 7th and 9th aspects and Saturn's 3rd, 7th and 10th.
What if no window appears in the next five years?
It means no period of your 7th lord, Venus, Jupiter or the Darakaraka begins or runs in the next five years. Marriage can still happen in a smaller sub-period; a full chart reading or the Marriage Report looks at those.
Is my birth data saved?
No. It is sent in the body of the request, never in the page address, used once to compute the windows and not saved. The result page is not cached or shown to search engines.
