यही कारण है कि नवमांश और विंशोत्तरी दशा एक ही विभाजन पर बने हैं। जो पद्धति *कब* बताती है और जो चार्ट *कितना टिकेगा* बताता है, दोनों एक ही जोड़ पर काटे गए हैं — इसलिए शास्त्र में इन्हें सदा साथ पढ़ा जाता है।
